CapPride to perform at 2009 Columbus Pride Festivities!
The Capital Pride Marching Band will make its 7th annual appearance at
Columbus Pride
on Saturday, June 20. The band will march in the Pride Parade, which
steps off from the
State Capitol at 1PM and heads north on High Street through the
Short North.
Catch performances by the band at 11:30 AM at the Pride Mini Stage near
the Statehouse and at approximately 2:50 PM at the performing arts stage
at
Goodale Park. Both stage shows will include a special joint
performance with our sister band from the Lesbian & Gay Band
Association, The
Pride of Indy. This will be the first performance in Columbus for
our friends from Indianapolis, who will also be marching in the parade,
so please make them feel welcome!
